Eleven Puzzles - how hard it is to pronounce

Have you ever started a company? Well, we decided to give it a go, we chose to try creating an online version of an escape room, something we have come to love in their physical form. Take my word for it though, it's not easy but it’s been worth all the hard work to get to share something with you all that we feel is very exciting. As you probably guessed, when setting up a company, it involves filling out lots of documents, permits, learning about company laws and regulations and so on, it’s enough to put you to sleep! However, the biggest challenge was actually deciding on a name. It turns out it not as simple as you’d think and ours has gone through many iterations before we decided on our final name.

However, in the end, we had to go with Eleven Puzzles. Why? You ask? Well, just ask our Scottish friends Lee and Helena, co-creators of the game ‘Unboxing the mind of a Cryptic Killer’, to say the word eleven. Turns out Scots have a weird way of saying eleven* and it gave us such a good laugh that we took it as a sign. What better way to start our company, where our main goal is to entertain people, than by naming it after something that entertained us a lot.

So have fun, we did!
